Past Fishing Reports

September 1, 2009
Lake Ontario charters are finding more and more king salmon showing
up off the Salmon River lately. The majority of salmon are still
in deeper waters -100'+ but a few have actually moved into the estuary.
The last few weeks of August were so/so but the first few days of
September have been a lot better. September is prime time for charters
on the Eastern end of Lake Ontario- The Salmon River gets the biggest
run by far of any tributary on Lake Ontario due to the hatchery
being located here. So if you want to be in the best possible area
for salmon fishing book a charter off the Salmon River. We got kings!
The 2 top LOC derby fish have been weighed in here and several more
35# + monster kings have come in but the fishermen didn't get into
the derby! We are offering the best rates around- book 2 days and
get a $50 discount off each date= $100 savings!

Salmon fishing on Lake Ontario remains fair- the last few days
were tougher then the weekend but still productive. We've been hitting
5-8 fish a trip on morning and afternoon trips. This afternoon charter
was a lot better then morning, don't be afraid to fish afternoons
this time of the year. The eastern end of Lake Ontario is loaded
with salmon but the bite has been tough at times. Spin dr's in the
standard white and/or green run down 80-100' over 90-140' off the
Salmon River to north of Sandy Pond has been our program lately.
We have afternoons open the last 2 days of the August and plenty
of dates (morning or afternoons) available in September for lake
charters, night river mouth trips and float trips down the Salmon
River.
August 21, 2009
Salmon action on Eastern Lake Ontario has exploded the last 6-7
days. Plenty of BIG king salmon have been showing up a few miles
off the Salmon River. Conditions have been very good on this end
of Lake Ontario for charters. We've been trolling 80-120' of water
taking salmon 20-40' off the bottom. Lots of BIG kings so far this
summer. It's only going to get better for Lake Ontario troller.
Mornings are full for August but we still have afternoons open.
In September we have plenty of mornings and afternoons open for
charters on Lake Ontario or drift boat trips at the mouth of the
Salmon River.

8/19/09
Lake Ontario king salmon have been turning on big time. Lake Ontario
charters have been finding better numbers of salmon from the Salmon
River north to Sandy Pond in 100-130' of water. Most the salmon
are hitting on the deeper side 20-30' off the bottom. Flasher/fly
combos have been working best but Stinger Mag spoons have also been
taking fish.
We still have a lot of afternoons open in August. Plenty of dates
open in September for mornings or afternoon Lake Ontario charters,
night trips at the river mouth or drift boat trips on the Salmon
River. November steelhead drift boat dates are filling up quickly-
get in on the fall chrome zone!

8/13/09
King salmon fishing on Lake Ontario has been up and down lately.
Today it was UP! I think we are in for some great action for the
next month or so. Typically mid August kicks off the major blast
of salmon on the eastern end of Lake Ontario. So get ready of screaming
drags and lots of excitement! We have been marking plenty of fish
all over Mexico Bay and points north. The salmon we're hitting in
130-150' just North of the Salmon River all the way up to Sandy
Pond. White or green pro troll and Spin Drs with green flies have
been working during low light periods. When the sun shines chrome/green
flashers with silver/green or chartruese flies have been the ticket.
It's time folks! There's a few salmon starting up the Salmon River
but it is really early yet for making a long trip up here. I would
bet the better runs should start in early-mid September. Water temperatures
are very warm and any early salmon coming into the Salmon River
will not last long. Our charter dates and drift boat dates are filling
in fast - give us a call or email to get yours booked- ASAP! We
have plenty of open afternoons for August but most of or mornings
are filled except- August 20,27,30th are still open for mornings.
In Sept we still have openings for mornings and night trips. If
I'm booked I can set you up with other charters or guide for Lake
Ontario trolling or drift boat fishing the Salmon River.
8/3/09
King salmon fishing on Lake Ontario continues to be productive.
It's certainly not great but consistent action is the best way to
describe it. Most trips we are taking 5-10 hits landing 3-6 salmon.
The size of the king salmon has been impressive this season. 20-25
pound kings have been common. Trolling just north of the Salmon
River off the eastern shore of Lake Ontario in 120-150' has been
our go to fishing grounds. Hits have been coming 90-110' down on
flasher/fly combos. A few salmon and steelhead have taking on mag
stinger spoons run 20-30' behind the ball. Brown trout fishing has
been very good for those looking for constant action. The trout
have been around 3-6 pounds and there's plenty of them. A few kings
have also been spotted in the Salmon River up to the hatchery. We
have August 5,7,10,11,13,14,16,20,24,27,30 open for morning charters
and almost all the afternoons for August are open. Our rates are
the most reasonable on Lake Ontario. September and October dates
are filling in fast so give us a ring and get in on the action.
7/28/09
Salmon fishing on Lake Ontario continues to be productive. Trolling
120-140' off the Salmon River has been a good bet for king salmon.
We've been taking salmon on dodger-fly combos and spoons off the
riggers and the dipsies. Off shore winds have brought cold water
temps back up to 80-90' on this end of Lake Ontario. Plenty of bigger
20-25 pound king salmon have been taken lately including a 33.5
pounder taken off Sandy Pond Saturday morning. We still have openings
for the rest of the season but dates are starting to tighten up.
Give us a ring for the best value out there!
Thanks for checking us out,

7/20/09
Salmon fishing on the eastern end of Lake Ontario has been improving.
The king salmon are hanging in deep water due to water temps. We
have been trolling 130'-170' of water off the Salmon River to Sandy
Creek. Due to weeks on end of heavy west winds the cold water is
tight to the bottom. Most hits are coming below 130' attractor -
fly combos. Running green or white pro trolls close to the down
rigger weight @ 2.5 down speed has been producing the best results.
A few kings salmon have been hitting Mag stingers in alewife and
die hard patterns.
It's just the beginning folks! We have plenty of dates for July,
August and September. We offer great 2 day package deals. Our rates
are the most reasonable on Lake Ontario!
7/8/09
Summer king salmon are moving into the eastern end of Lake Ontario.
Today we trolled 150-200 feet of water just north of the Salmon
River.
Salmon were hitting fly/pro troll combos 135-145 feet down off the
riggers.
White flashers with the hammer fly did most the damage. Water temps
are way down due the big winds over the weekend. Conditions will
be shaping up for the next few days with high pressure and calm
seas. We have plenty of open dates for July and August. Give a ring
and get in on some salmon action on Lake Ontario.
August 2009
Salmon fishing on Lake Ontario charters continues to be productive.
Big king salmon have been common on charter trips on Lake Ontario.
So far this summer king salmon action has been consistent. August
is PRIME TIME to book a charter for king salmon on Lake Ontario.
Plenty of salmon are moving east towards the Salmon River, their
origination point.
There will be good numbers of king salmon this season, good reports
are coming in from all over Lake Ontario. We have the very best
rates on this end of Lake Ontario. Our two day package deals on
charters are very reasonable. We have August 7,11,13,14,16,20,24,27,30
open for morning charters and almost all the afternoons for August
are open.
Thanks for checking us out!

July 2009
King salmon action on Lake Ontario has been steady so far this
summer. The last few weeks good numbers of salmon have been showing
up. The king salmon have been big and healthy, a good sign of things
to come on Lake Ontario. We have plenty of dates open for salmon
charters on Lake Ontario.
Our rates are the most reasonable in the Salmon River area. Our
2 day charter packages are a bargain! Give us a call and get the
dates you want.

June 2009
Salmon have been taken over deep water on Lake Ontario since early
May. Recently it has slowed down but a few here and there are bring
taken along with some steelheads. Brown trout fishing has shut down
along the shoreline but with a thermocline slowly developing they
will be more easily targeted very soon. Walleye fishing has been
the bright spot lately. Plenty of BIG walleyes taken over the last
few weeks along the shoreline of Lake Ontario. Oneida Lake has been
doing very well. Limits of 18-20'' fish have been normal lately.
Give us a ring. We are offering discounted rates for June and July.
March 2009
Our 2009 Lake Ontario fishing charter season will be kicking off
really soon! The Big boat goes in the water by mid April. Brown
trout fishing along the Lake Ontario shoreline has already started
off and brown trout are being taken from Oswego to Mexico already!
If you want try it now we have the drift boats ready to go. Last
years early spring brown trout action was great. With any luck 2009
will be the same. Night fishing off the drift boats for trophy walleye
and brown trout was the best in years. We had a lot of 20 hook-up
nights. Summer salmon and brown trout trips are great for families
who love to fish.
We troll the deeper waters off the Salmon River using spoons and
dodger/fly combos taking a mixed bag of salmonoid, including brown
trout, salmon, lake trout and steelhead's. We offer the most reasonable
rates around. Give us a ring and get your charters booked now!
JULY 2008
Salmon trolling on Lake Ontario has been fair so far. We've done
dozen trips this month targeting king salmon and had success on
10 of them. The other trips the brown trout were happy to cooperate.
The salmon have been in nice shape mostly pushing 20 pounds. Salmon
have been biting off the Salmon River all the way North to Sandy
pond and west to Oswego as well. 180-220 feet of water has been
the most consistent depths. Trolling dodger/fly combos has been
the ticket to catching bigger king salmon. Salmon fishing will continue
to improve over the next few weeks. Brown trout have biting in 80-100
feet. Stinger spoons in natural colors has been a good bet for BIG
trout. We offer the best rates on the eastern end of Lake Ontario.
Give us a ring!
Thanks for checking us out!

An early summer king salmon taken on a spoon off the shore on a
Lake Ontario charter.
The 2008 Lake Ontario charter season is well underway. Brown trout
and walleye have been cooperating nicely. Trolling along the Lake
Ontario shoreline has been producing good catches of brown trout
by day and walleye by night. By the end of June we will be targeting
BIG king salmon and steelhead off shore. Salmon and steelhead are
just starting be taken out deeper mainly on spoons fished off the
downriggers. For June we're offering 2 day specials- Our rates are
already the most reasonable around- NO hidden surcharge on fuel
either.

A nice 10 pound spring brown trout taken close to the Lake Ontario
shoreline.

June 2007! King Salmon landed on the Eastern Basin of Lake Ontario,
NY.

2007 Lake Ontario Fishing Reports
9/19/07
Salmon charter fishing on Lake Ontario continues to be productive.
We have been catching fish each trip out but not in great numbers.
The kings have moved in shallow 8-30' of water- Spoons and plugs
have been our best producers. Night fishing the river mouth has
finally picked up the last few nights. Trolling glow spoons/plugs
in shallow is the key to catching king salmon. The Salmon River
remains extremely low. There has been a few decent runs that have
spread out through mid-lower river. Best bets are working the lower
river at first light. With the low conditions the fish are getting
cut off quick and settling into the larger pools looking for cover.
9/11/07
The salmon charters on Lake Ontario are kicking butt lately. Loads
of kings and cohos are sliding eastward towards the Salmon River.
Trollers are finding fish from 10'-150' of water. Spoons and plugs
are slowly taking over the fly programs. We have been taking fish
on both but the last few days the hardware has been out doing the
flies. The night trips off the Salmon River mouth started off pretty
good this past Friday night with some really big fish coming to
the boat. Saturday night was somewhat tougher but we managed to
play with a few and even boat some. Check out John's 30+ pounder
from Friday night. The Salmon River has had a few small runs and
one decent run of salmon over the last 10 days or so. Sad to say
a lot of these fish could not handle the low water and warm temperatures.
MANY fish went belly up:(. The river is at 100cfs and the temps
are running between 67-70 degrees. Rain and cooler temperatures
are coming so hopefully this will be the break we need to improve
conditions for the fish. These salmon are spooky in the low water-
it does not take much to make them scatter once they get some pressure
from anglers. Best bet is be quite and take cast from a distance.
Trying to get on top to them is almost impossible with out spooking
them. Due to the low water charters will be available thru Columbus
day. Drift boat trips may have to be at the river mouth until the
water starts to get back to normal. But just think with all the
low water in the river mouth the salmon will be stacked up like
cord wood! Thanks for checking us out! Give us a ring to get your
fishing adventure booked.
9/4/07
For the past week salmon trollers on Lake Ontario have been doing
consistently well. They have been biting from 30-150' from Mexico
bay up to the mouth of Sandy Creek. J-plugs, spoons and spin dr/fly
combos have all been producing good results. The reservoir levels
are extremely low so they have very little water running in the
Salmon River. A very few salmon are coming up daily but with the
low water they are very weary. I would not expect significant runs
anytime soon. It looks like we will be having a fairly late run
this season unless we get a lot of rain soon. The night trips and
day charters at the river mouth will be outstanding this September.
ALOT of salmon will be lingering around out there. We still have
openings for salmon fishing but it is getting filled up - give us
a shout and we'll get you the fish!
8/29/07
Salmon fishing on the eastern end of Lake Ontario has been GREAT!
The last few trips have been awesome. Salmon are staging off the
Salmon River in 50-100 feet of water. We have been running dodger/fly
combos just off the bottom and having our way with kings and cohos.
The fish finder have been lit up with fish on the screen. A few
early salmon have entered the lower river. Water levels are low
185cfs and will be holding there for a while. The releases have
been CANCELLED. The reservoir is VERY low and unless we get rain
the water flows in the river will be low for most of September.
This is great for lake fishing but not so great for river anglers.
The runs will still come in but at a much slower pace. The fish
will be more sensitive and much harder to fish for. We still have
lake and river dates open including this Friday, August 31 and a
lot of afternoons in September.
8/16/07
Salmon fishing on the eastern end of Lake Ontario has improved
a lot the last few days. Heavy winds pushed temperatures down a
bit making for much better conditions for trollers out of Port Ontario.
We had all our luck on white/green Spin drs with green glow flies
mostly run off the dipsies and downriggers. Best depths were between
70-90' down and 230-250' out on the dipsies over 100-110' of water.
The winds were heavy again today so hopefully this will continue
the trend to better fishing. Our dates are filling up fast for charters
and drift boat fishing. If you would like to book a trip email or
call us asap. A lot of people ask whether the afternoon trips are
as good as the mornings?? Well I say YES they sure are- after working
them over in the morning we usually have a good idea for a successful
program of where and what to run.
8/12/07
Salmon fishing on eastern Lake Ontario continues to be tough.
Most troller are struggling to boat 1 or 2 kings. Things should
be improving soon though, the last 4-5 years large numbers of king
salmon decided to show up right around now. Brown trout action has
been better. A lot of charters are starting out by catching some
trout and finishing off targeting salmon. We still have some dates
left for August but mostly afternoons. September and October are
filling up quickly so please don't wait, call asap and get your
fishing adventure booked.
8/5/07
Fishing for king salmon the last few trips has been a lot tougher.
We're managing a few each trip and losing a few more but working
hard is the best way to describe it. Trout fishing has certainly
picked up the slack. Brown trout and steelhead have filled the gap.
The salmon have been around but only a few have cooperated. We took
a couple in 170' of water this morning and missed a couple more.
A few hits came on spin dr's with flies and few hits came on spoons.
All the the bites were off the riggers 70-80' down. A few charters
have elected to go after the trout first thing in the morning. They
have been doing quite well in 60-80' on smaller stinger spoons -
50-60' down. It is always nice to have a good plan B. I would expect
the kings to turn on shortly, after all it is August already. We
still have dates open this month, September and October, but they
have been filling in. Give us a shout or email us for more info-
we will be happy to set up your fishing adventure.
7/28/07
Salmon and trout fishing on Lake Ontario continues to be productive.
Not as hot and heavy as the last few weeks but still very decent.
The kings have been big and have had nasty attitudes making for
super battles. When our guests have wanted to target brown trout
the fish have been happy to oblige. Spoons run off down riggers
have been doing almost all the damage lately on both king salmon
and brown trout. Kings have been hitting from 120' out to 250'.
Best depths down have been 80-100' with 2.5-3.0 mph being the best
speeds. Brown trout have been in tighter 60-80' taking out hot items
down around 60'. Our phone has been ringing a lot lately and dates
are going fast. Give us a call for your fishing adventure today.
Right now we have August 1,2,3,4,5,8,11,12,13,15,19,22,26,28,30,31
open for mornings, afternoons, or all day trips.
7/21/07
Salmon fishing on the Eastern shore of Lake Ontario continues to
be good. Despite a lot of rough water lately the kings have remained
very predictable. We fished 120-150' N of the Salmon River. The
Salmon were biting 90-110' down on dodger fly combos and spoons.
Brown trout were also hungry but mostly smaller fish- 3-6 pounds.
We had a bunch of really nice looking fish today providing great
battles.
7/15/07
Salmon and trout fishing on Lake Ontario continues to be excellent.
After the heavy west winds on Friday pushed the cold water break
deeper. Fish have moved out and down with it. The better depths
off the downriggers have been 115-130' over 180-300'. Dodger/fly
programs, spoons and cut bait have all been producing salmon while
spoons seem to be best for the trout. The best colors have been
the usual green, white, and blue. If your looking for a charter
we still have plenty of dates open. We are offering 2 day specials
for a $100 off plus 1 hour extra fishing time offer is good until
mid August. Our rates are the most reasonable in the area. Our trip
times are lines in the water time - not from dock to dock. Thanks
for checking us out!
Give a call and get you date booked for a great summer adventure.
7/5/07
Salmon, salmon and more salmon are biting big time! The big fish
were very cooperative today. We set up in 150 foot of water and
1st rigger down-WHAM!!! fish on! That was the way the morning went.
Between kings and brown trout we racked up an easy double digit
day. One king salmon topped the scales over 25 pounds and the rest
were 15-20 pounds. White proll trolls with a hammer fly run back
10-20 feet along with stinger spoons down between 75-95 feet off
the riggers did the trick.
7/1/07
Charter fishing on the open waters of Lake Ontario has been producing
some great action! We've been targeting king salmon, brown trout
and steelhead. The kings have been feisty making us earn our money.
Brown trout are certainly more manageable with good numbers coming
to the net. We have had a few steelheads and lake trout thrown in
for a great mixed bag. Running spoons and flasher/fly combos off
the riggers has been equally productive. White pro trolls with hammer
flies are doing great. We've been taking fish from 80-200' and the
best depths have been down 65-80' where the thermal cline is. We
have plenty of summer dates available for charters on the lake and
Sept/Oct trips for the salmon on the Salmon River. Give us a call
or shoot us an email for more info.
Thanks for checking us out!
6/24/07
Salmon are slipping into the eastern basin of Lake Ontario. After
a lot of windy weather we finally got after them today. We headed
out into deeper water 200' about 6-7 miles out of the Salmon River.
Kings were on the attack right off the bat! 1st rod down went off
before we could get the second one down. White pro chip flasher
with a hammer fly worked it's wonder, along with the typical Stinger
and NK spoons. Fish were hanging from 60-80' down. It's looking
really good for the summer.
Lake Oneida walleye fishing has been a lot tougher lately. Walleye's
have moved out over deeper water 25-30'. Jigging sonar's and bucktails
has been working best. Small mouth bass fishing has been productive
on Lake Ontario and Lake Oneida.
2006 Lake Ontario Fishing Reports

9/4/06
Salmon fishing on Lake Ontario has been decent. The last few days
we've been trolling in shallow water off the Salmon River. Glow
spoons off the riggers and J-plugs flatlined have been working well.
The first few hours in the early am have been the best. A few fish
making there way into the estuary and few heading up the river.
However so far nothing substantial has developed in the river just
yet. We still have some slots open for Sept and later October -
give us a ring.
Thanks,
Shane and Jaclyn
8/28/06
After an excellent weekend of salmon fishing on Lake Ontario the
strong SE winds have made conditions less then desirable. Water
temperatures have chilled off and the thermocline is now only 30-40'
down. Spoons & J- plugs run off dipsies and stretched back off
the riggers are working best.
With a little on shore winds conditions will change for the better
pushing the themocline down and the salmon back out.
Salmon are moving into the Salmon River a little more each day.
I wouldn't say it's worth a long journey up here just yet. This
will change quickly though so expect improving reports.
The first 2 weeks of September I have dates available for Lake Charters
& night fishing at the river mouth.
Give us a call and get your salmon trips book now! (315) 298-4530
Thanks,
Shane and Jaclyn
8/20/06
Salmon fishing on Lake Ontario continues to be good. Kings &
cohos have been off the Salmon River in 100-150' of water. Pro trolls
& Spin Drs with flies have been doing best for us. Hot spot
& Cut bait rigs are also producing decent action. 90-115' down
on the riggers and 280-350' out on the dipsies has been the the
best placement for our hot items. The kings have been pretty big
this season, on friday we took a 35+ pounder!
The Salmon River has had a very FEW kings coming in. That will change
soon. Keep checking for reports they will be improving. By Labor
day I'd expect some better runs of fish comimg through.
I still have charter dates open for this months as well as the first
half of September. Dates are still available for drift boat trips
on the Salmon River for kings/coho salmon in September & October
as well as steelhead/brown trout fishing in November & December.
Give us a ring and get your dates booked.
Thanks,
Shane and Jaclyn
8/14/06
Salmon fishing continues to improve. We have been producing consistent
catches each trip. The last few days we have fished 80'-120', pretty
much straight off the Salmon River in Pulaski Ny. King salmon have
been hitting 60'-75' down on E-chip flashers / flies. Green, white,
& chartreuse color combos will do the trick.
We still have plenty of days left this month as well as a few fall
date for drift boat fishing the Salmon River. Give us a call now
to book your salmon fishing trip!
Thanks,
Shane and Jaclyn
8/6/06
Salmon Fishing on Eastern Lake Ontario has definitely been picking
up steam. Salmon were hitting well North of the Salmon River in
140'-200'. Best depths off the riggers were 120-130' down. Dipsies
were working our 300-350'. NBK Spin Drs with green/chart E chip
fly was the hot item. A few boats were taking kings on cut bait
rigs- salmon slashers in gold/silver work well.
Call now to book your salmon fishing trip!
Thanks,
Shane and Jaclyn
8/3/06
Lake Ontario salmon fishing has been improving. Boats are hitting
a few more kings every day.
The best depths have been 350' -500'. Salmon Slasher cut bait rigs
have been firing down between 90'-120'.
The Salmon River flow schedule-
Until 12:01 AM Sat AUG 05, 500 CFS
From 12:01 AM Sat, until 9:00 PM Sun, 750 CFS
From 9:00 PM Sun, until 9:00 AM Mon, 350 CFS
From 9:00 AM Mon, until 11:59 PM, Fri AUG 11, 185 CFS
No salmon in the river just yet but few skamainas steelhead &
atlantics have been up in the Upper Fly Zone.
Oneida lake has been good walleyes are hitting well. Whether jigging
or trolling all reports have been decent.
Thanks,
Shane and Jaclyn
7/25/06
Lake Ontario salmon fishing has been tough this week. Salmon are
scattered from 50 ft out to 500 ft. The best action for salmon has
been off Henderson out in the shipping lanes. More boats are targeting
brown trout and doing fairly decent. Spoons seem to be doing best
for both the salmon and trout. Depths have been changing daily depending
on the thermocline of course.
The Salmon River has been running at 750-1000 cubic feet per second
for the month of July. A few skamania steelhead and brown trout
are around. With the above average flows there is even a few early
kings showing up but so far VERY few.
Lake Oneida has been doing very well for walleye and smallmouth
bass. Most are targeting walleyes on bottom with jigs and worm harnesses
anywhere from 15-35 ft'. Smallmouths are hitting crank baits off
the points mostly in the evenings.
Salmon season is closing in fast. Charters are taking a few here
and there out on Eastern Lake Ontario Ny.
August is prime time for deep water trolling for king salmon. We'll
be reporting alot more often as fishing improves. Trolling deep
water for salmon is a blast! Dates are still available.
Don't wait any longer to book Fall Salmon River drift boat trips.
I've been getting several emails and phone calls everyday for salmon
trips in September & October.
If you're thinking of booking a fall trip you'd better get your
dates set- & give me a call SOON!
Don't forget November & December are prime brown trout &
steelhead months. Our 2 day package deals are hard to beat! Try
one day creek fishing brown trout and one day floating the Salmon
River for steelheads. Steelhead fishing is my favorite type of fishing-
I can't wait for chomers.
We offer winter specials for January and February for die hard anglers.
Please see our drift boat rates page for more details on our special
packages that we offer. Please feel free to give us a call for an
honest fishing report or more information on how to book a
trip. (315) 298-4530.
Thanks,
Shane and Jaclyn
July 12, 2007
Salmon and brown trout fishing on Lake Ontario continues to be
excellent. We've been trolling 70-80' for brown trout and 150-180'
for king salmon. The trout have been hitting just off the bottom,
the salmon 80-90' down. Spoons have been taking trout while salmon
have liked the dodger/fly program best. Most days we've started
out targeting kings and finish off w/ trout. Throw in the occassional
steelie for a great trip out on Lake Ontario. So far this summer
has been one of the best in recent years.

9/09/06
Salmon fishing at the Salmon River mouth has been GREAT!! The Last
few nights we've fished, the kings & cohos have been very cooperative.
Slow trolling glow spoons & plugs has been the hot ticket to
success. By day we've been taking some decent fish on the charter
boat as well. The Salmon River has been slow for the most part-
due to the low water- 285 cfs- And it's scheduled to go lower for
sunday midnight to 185cfs(cubic feet per second). This is due to
dam repairs on the upper reservoir. It's looking good for lake fishing
but not so great for the river. If it would rain then this could
change very quickly. It's all up to mother nature now- but if the
river is at 185cfs there won't be any drift boats floating down
the river until the flow increases. So expect to be fishing the
river mouth, more then likely in the evening or early morning if
